The new hub will also see the adaptation to local conditions of world-class high technology from across the globe.
Based in Novosibirsk region, the AgroTechno-park will aim to 'form an effective system for the monetization of R&D projects developed by scientists from the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (RAAS)', said Sergei Sverchkov. He is the deputy chairman of the RAAS in Siberia.
Novosibirsk region governor Vasily Yurchenko has called for a detailed business plan from scientific think tanks by April on the project. A key objective will be to train innovation managers and 'a skilled cadre of agricultural specialists'.
