Direct flights to Thailand to resume from the Far East of Russia

S7 airlines announced two flights a week from Khabarovsk and Vladivostok starting mid-December.

Suvarnabhumi airport, Bangkok, Thailand
Russia’s second biggest airline announced its plan to start serving two flights a week to Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand ahead of Russian winter holidays.

Sales to flights from Khabarovsk have already opened, the cheapest ticket is 41,000 roubles.

From 20 December the airline would also start flying from Vladivostok, Russia’s Pacific capital, to Phuket.

All Russian tourists must do two PCR tests - before boarding the flight and immediately after the arrival to Thailand, and spend several days in a designated quarantine hotel with free access to a beach.

After the second negative test tourists would be invited to visit the rest of the Kingdom.

All tourists must arrive with insurance, providing cover for Covid-19.

‘Tourists were eagerly waiting for those flights to re-open. Yes there are Covid-19 limitations, but the demand was so high all tickets from Vladivostok were sold off within days after the sales were open', said a sales office in Vladivostok.
